Fact 1: I have lived my whole life in Lancaster, PA (aka Amish country for those not from the area)
Fact 2: I married my high school sweetheart who grew up 6 blocks from me. We now live 5 minutes from our parents (can you tell we haven't spread our wings far)
Fact 3: We have a veryfiesty, independent minded 3 year old daughter who definitely keeps us on our toes.
Fact 4: I am looking forward to traveling to Maine for the first time this summer.
What I'd like to learn or get out of this course:
I want to begin to evaluate when technology enhances learning instead of just using technology for the sake of using it. Often times my students get "stuck" on the technology aspects of creating projects that they miss the big idea.
My favorite game(s):
I am not really much of a video game person myself, but my husband did buy me Guitar Hero for my birthday a few years ago. This is probably the closest I have come to video games.
My favorite board game is Scattergories, it was always a family favorite at holidays.
